An autumn afternoon on Sljeme, the top of Medvednica above Zagreb — up on the gondola, the view from the TV tower, and a long stop in a mountain lodge.
5 November 2023, a half-day up Medvednica. The gondola from Dolje back in service, the lift to the top of the TV tower for the view over Zagreb, and the rest of the afternoon in one of the mountain lodges — the kind of place with a wood stove, a wall of old skis and a chest of drawers buried under folk knick-knacks.
