New Year's Day in Bosnia — pigeons round the Sebilj in Baščaršija, then the Pliva waterfall and the old gate-lined streets of Jajce as the light went.
1 January 2026. A late-morning stop at the Sebilj in Sarajevo’s Baščaršija, then on to Jajce for the afternoon — the Pliva falling straight through the middle of town, the old town climbing the hill above it, and the streets lighting up around the gate tower by evening.
